Rimas Publishing Launches New Marketing Division Led by Christopher Hernández

Independent music publisher Rimas Publishing has announced the launch of its new marketing division, headed by Christopher Hernández. This move is a key part of the company’s strategy to modernize and expand its influence in the music industry.

Christopher Hernández Takes the Lead

Hernández, who previously served as the licensing manager at Rimas Publishing since 2022, will now lead the company’s marketing efforts. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies designed to promote Rimas Publishing's artists and music. His work will involve both internal and external collaborations aimed at increasing audience engagement, boosting revenue, and crafting content for various platforms.

Expanding Marketing Capabilities

The new marketing division will also oversee live events, showcases, and promotional activities, all designed to help connect artists with their fans. Additionally, Hernández is expected to bring his experience and industry connections into play, having been involved with notable organizations such as the Recording Academy, the Latin Recording Academy, and the Music Supervisors Guild. He is also a member of the board of directors for the Lusca Film Fest.

Strategic Partnerships and Growth

This move follows Rimas Publishing's recent strategic expansion, including a partnership with Wild Company in Chile. The company also joined forces with Made in Memphis Entertainment (MIME) to bridge the gap between Latin and general market music.

As part of its modernization plan, Rimas Publishing has been actively pursuing technological alliances, including a collaboration with Reprtoir, a SaaS solution for record labels and publishers, and a partnership with Muso.AI to provide real-time analytics to its clients.
